His second book on effective influence will publish soon.

In the course of his career, Tom has worked with executives from The Weather Channel, AOL, Verizon, VeriSign, NASCAR, Fannie Mae, World Bank, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the National Institutes of Health, the Education Ministry of Argentina and dozens of others.

    Expertise

An expert on organization system change efforts, leadership coaching, team building and cultural diversity, Tom provides a unique leadership development system called LifeLine that’s designed for leaders under pressure. The LifeLine approach links personal biography and history to a leader’s ability to handle pressure and overload. LifeLine is designed for turbulent times and helps leaders develop non-anxious courage, influence, resilience and optimism.

Tom uses a “small shifts” approach, working with clients to identify a slight addition to their pattern of behavior or mindset that might break a logjam, resolve a conflict or move a project forward. He believes the greatest value-add many clients get from coaching is in-the-moment feedback on how they’re being experienced. As a coach, Tom acts as an independent source who can be frank without strings attached, or who can notice patterns that may be missed.
